day 1:This is the last stop on this trip across Canada, Vancouver. this is a great city with so many things to do. Today is the first day of the Olympics, what a coincidence! we will be going to see the opening ceremony's. It is so great that Canada gets to host the Olympics and honor our country by (hopefully) doing great.

day 2: Today we will be going to Stanley park.

Stanley Park is recognized around the globe as one of the great parks of the world! Vancouver's first park and one of the city's main tourist attractions, Stanley Park is an evergreen oasis of 400 hectares (1,000 acres) close to the downtown core. Its natural west coast atmosphere offering a back drop of majestic cedar, hemlock and fir trees embraces visitors and transports them to an environment rich in tranquility. The park abounds in wildlife and its features appeal to the naturalist, the plant lover or one who would do nothing more than relax in beautiful surroundings.(4)

Stanley park is such a great place there is lots of wildlife,trees and things to do!

day 1: we have just arrived in Edmonton. We checked into our hotel and headed off for the day. today we are going to the west Edmonton mall. this is the biggest indoor mall in the world.

Not only is it an architectural marvel with its domed curved glass ceiling, the larger-than-life complex boasts its own waterpark, amusement park, bungee tower, daily sea lion show, as well as mall hotel called the Fantasyland Hotel".(1)

It's such a cool place!

Day 2: today we are going to 124 street ,Edmonton. This place reminds me of Kensington Market in Toronto. It is very much the same. this place is very cultural to Edmonton and a great tourism site. you can pretty much find anything here.(2)

day 1: today we will be arriveing in montreal. this is a french city and is very cultureal. today i will be visiting the 1976 olympic stadium. this is a historic site where canada won 11 medals! its very cool because you can see where canada did so well in the olimpics and see how they run and did all their events.

day 2: today we are going to the montreal botanical gardens, otherwise know as Jardin botanique. it has greenhouses, outdoor gardens and insectariums. this is a very peaceful and beautiful place. you can walk around for hours and soak in the nature, its a great place.

day 1: we just arrived after the long drive from Halifax. today we will be in sudbury,Ontario. the first thing we will be visiting the big nickel. this is a good attraction because there main industrie is mining nickel this nickel was opened on july 27,1964. it celebrated its 45th anivercery on july 27,2009 just one year ago it used to sit off a road, but now it sits at science north a science center in subury.




Day 2: on the second day we went to the mines. This is sudbury's main industury and is very importent to the city. we could go down into the mines. the mines are very cool. then we went to Dynamic Earth, a Geology centre in sudbury. this is a cool place where you can see how they mine and different things about mining. After this we went back to the hotel and got ready for tommorows drive

Today i arrived in halifax, the weather is amazing! it is a nice cold winter day not to hot and not to cold. today i will be among the 372679 people that live in halifax, nova scotia. Today i will be visiting peir 21. This was the place that imigrants where imigrants used to come when they woukd come to canada. this place is very importenet to canada and has a lot of history. if you go there now you can see all the history of this great historic site. i had a great day there and hope to learn more about the city tomorrow.

Halifax: day 2

Today i am going to the halifax public gardens. it was established in 1867 and it a great place to look at, theres a lot of city history here. for lunch we went to fisherman's cove which is 20 minutes away from halifax. this place has been fishing for a long time. it relates to halifax because fishing is their main industry. to finish off the day we went to halifax harbor the worlds second largest harbor!
